State Fire Marshal
Oregon Dept Of Forestry
Lewis & Clark Fire District is located south of Astoria, Oregon accross Youngs Bay, near the Oregon coast. The department operates out of two fire stations located on the north and south end of the district, and ran 115 calls for service in 2004.  A staff of volunteers provide fire protection to about 3,000 people in the Lewis & Clark-Youngs River Area.
Dept Of Homeland Security
Lewis & Clark Fire Department is currently taking applications for the position of Volunteer Firefighter.  Applicants must be:

*18 years of age

*Reside within distict limits for a period not shorter than 6 months

*Be of good moral character

*Willing to attend a Basic Firefighter Academy lasting 4 weekends in duration
